Employer Discount Programs*

Downtown Small Business Parking Fee Discount Program 

• Only for Small Employer with less than 50 employees
• The first two parking passes are discounted to $42 each per month. 
• Each pass purchased thereafter is $55 a month. 
• If a $55 parking pass is paid on an annual (full payment on July 1) or yearly basis (in three increments), there is a cost savings of $60.

Payment Due Dates and Amounts

Major Employer with 50+ Employees

• The annual cost for each parking pass is $540; full payment can be made on July 1.
• The pass payment can also be paid in three increments as noted above.
• Increment amounts:  July 1 - $270; October 1 - $135; and January 1 - $135.

Major Employee with 150+ Employees

• The annual cost for each parking pass is $420; full payment can be made on July 1. 
• The pass payment can also be paid in three increments as noted above.
• Increment payments:  July 1 - $210; October 1 - $105; and January 1 - $105.

*Employee discount programs pertain to designated areas of parking: 

The designated areas pertain to businesses that own or lease real estate and operate within the corner of Main and Bates Streets, southward to Adams Avenue, westward to Canal Street, northward to Cedar Street, westward to Lincoln Street, northward to Main Street, and eastward to the point of beginning.

Validation Device for Businesses

In addition, businesses may utilize a validation machine for a refundable deposit of $500, a cost savings of $525 as the price of each machine is $1,025. Patrons who have their parking ticket validated upon arrival at a business will not have to pay to park.  At the close of each month, the validating business will receive an invoice for the dollar amount validated for that month.
