“I've struggled with anxiety since I was in elementary school. I had trouble at first trying to figure out how to calm my brain down, until I figured out that music calms me. When I listen to music, I feel like I get transferred to a completely different world and that all my issues are no longer there.
Anxiety can come at any time and can be especially prominent when things are stressful. That's what I've found out with COVID. My anxiety has been a little more active than it usually is. During the pandemic, I've been listening to music a lot more and it has really helped me. Music will always be my escape and my safe place.”
