Recreation Trail Program Grant

A Recreational Trail Program (RTP) Grant Working Group is submitting an application for the 2020 Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands Recreational Trails Program Grant. The Lewiston City Council authorized the Lewiston Public Works Department to move forward with an application in August 2020. The proposed project that will link the Marguerette Street and Warren Avenue trail to the Russell Street boardwalk trail (graphic below).
