Lewiston Senior Citizens Trip Cancellation Policy
  • One day trips arranged by the trip coordinators have a deadline usually set by the vendors being used. If there are not enough people signed up for the trip by the deadline, the trip will be canceled in most cases and people will receive a refund. If there are not enough interested people to take the chartered bus, but there are enough to consider chartering a van, people will be contacted. If enough are willing to go in a van, we will charter a van. Those who do not wish to go by van will receive a refund.
  • For one day trips arranged by the coordinators, the deadline to cancel and receive a refund is 14 days before the trip. Refunds after that date cannot be given because the vendors would have been paid.
  • For all trips that are arranged by a company, such as Diamond Tours or a hotel, such as Indian Head, the cancellation policy is set up by the company. They usually have a number of participants needed in order to run the trip. The larger companies offer travel insurance that you might want to consider.
  • On any trip unforeseen things can happen, such as the weather or mechanical problems with the bus. The Lewiston Senior Citizens are not responsible if changes have to be made to the trip. Everything possible will always be done to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
