The Utility Services office provides administration services for Public Works-related items. This encompasses:

• Accounts payable
• Billing and collection of over 12,000 water, sewer, and stormwater bills
• Budget administration
• Issuing street / sidewalk occupancy permits, excavation permits, and stormwater drain permits
• Scheduling connection / disconnection for water and sewer customers

The staff reports to the director of finance. Currently there are four employees, which consist of one business manager, two senior account clerks (one for accounts payable and one for utility billing), and one account clerk with the primary function of handling collections.
