Youth Council Launches "Name That Park" Contest

Land on Bartlett Street

NAME THAT PARK CONTEST The Lewiston Youth Advisory Council (LYAC) is facilitating a naming contest for the newly established municipal athletic park on Bartlett Street in Lewiston, with a name proposal submission deadline of December 16th.  The land was previously occupied by Hudson Bus Lines. The City of Lewiston is nearing completion of the park, and at their November 16, 2021, meeting, the City Council approved a naming rights program, authorizing LYAC to publicly seek naming for the park (through a contest) and field/sledding hill (through a naming rights sponsorship.)  LYAC will first focus on the park naming via the contest format.:
